AI Disclaimer

FundedFutures includes AI-powered features, including the "Funded" AI coach, daily action plans, and weekly strategy summaries (collectively, "AI Features"). This disclaimer describes the limits of those features.

1. AI Output Is Not Advice

AI Features generate suggestions, summaries, and prioritized actions based on the information available at the time. Output is provided for informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, tax, immigration, admissions, or professional advice. Do not rely on AI output to make any decision with legal or financial consequences without independent verification.

2. AI Output May Be Wrong

Large language models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or fabricated information ("hallucinations"). This includes incorrect scholarship details, eligibility conclusions, deadlines, award amounts, and external links. Always verify any factual claim against an authoritative source.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

AI Features do not guarantee that you will win any scholarship, qualify for aid, improve your application, gain admission to any school, or achieve any specific outcome. Sponsor decisions are made entirely by sponsors using their own criteria.

4. Your Inputs & Context

To produce useful output, AI Features may be given your profile, saved scholarships, tracker, scores, and essays as context. By using AI Features you consent to this processing. Do not paste highly sensitive information you do not want processed by an AI provider (e.g., government identification numbers, passwords, medical records).

5. Third-Party AI Providers

AI Features are powered by third-party AI providers. Your inputs are sent to those providers via secure APIs. We contractually require that providers process content only to return a response and not use it to train their public models. We do not control provider model behavior or future model changes.

6. No Confidential Relationship

Using AI Features does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, counselor, or other confidential relationship. Conversations may be stored to operate, secure, and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Originality & Academic Integrity

You are responsible for the originality and accuracy of anything you submit to a scholarship sponsor or school. AI output is a starting point, not a finished submission. Many sponsors and institutions restrict or prohibit AI-generated content; review their policies before submitting.

8. Limits, Outages & Rate Limits

AI Features may be rate-limited (for example, by daily message caps on the free plan), temporarily unavailable, or modified without notice. Premium plans do not guarantee a specific response time, quality level, or model version.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use AI Features to:

• generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringing;
• misrepresent your identity or academic record;
• submit AI-written content in violation of an institution's policy;
• attempt to extract another user's data or system prompts;
• build or train a competing AI model.

If AI output appears harmful or seriously wrong, use the in-app report control or email support@fundedfutures.app.
